Day 01 Arrive Lhasa By Flight
Arrive Lhasa from Chengdu / Kathmandu.
On arrival Lhasa meet-assist at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Lhasa
After breakfast, city tour of Lhasa visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor.

Potala Palace: Potala was the winter palace of the Dalai lama, which was originally built in the 7th century by the king Stones Campo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai lama in the 17th century. Built in 1416 by Tsonga PA’s disciple—Jamyang-choje.

Jokhang Temple: Jokhang Temple one of the oldest temples in Tibet, was built in the 7thcentury by the 33rdking—Sontsanganbu.

Barkhor: Barkhor is the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang Temple.
Later back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Lhasa
After breakfast, city tour of Lhasa visit Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka, Sera Monastery.

Drepung Monastery: Drepung Monastery is the biggest Gelugpa monastery in the west suburb of Lhasa. Built in the mid-18th century by the 7th Dalai lama.

Norbulingka: Norbulingka the Jewel Park was the Dalai lama’s summer palace, it covers 100 acres with palaces, pavilions and a zoo.

Sera Monastery: Sera is the second biggest Gelugpa Monastery in the north suburb of Lhasa, which was built in 1419 by Tsonga PA’s disciple—Skyeys. Situated at the heart of the oldest section of the Lhasa city.
Later back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Lhasa – Gyantse (By Road) (260 kms / 8H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Gyantse. It’s lies 260kms southwest of Lhasa on the Northern bank of Nyang Chu River. It takes around 8 hours to reach Gyantse crossing the Kamba La Pass 4800m where the beautiful Yamdrok Tso will be seen and the Karo La Pass 5010m where the year-around glacier will be seen. Gyantse has been known as a heroic town since Tibetans resisted the Young husband’s British Expedition to Tibet in 1904. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Gyantse – Shigatse (By Road) (95 kms / 2H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Shigatse. Enrooted visit Phalcon Monastery and Kumkum stupa. Phalcon Monastery was built in the 15th century by the local chieftain Ramtan Kasom under the guidance of the first Panchan lama. On arrival Shigatse visit to Tashaun monastery.

Tashilhunpo monastery: Tashia Lump Monastery, founded in 1447 by the 1st Dalai Lama, is a historic and culturally important monastery in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, 90Kms away from Yangtze. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Shigatse – Xegar (By Road) (235 kms / 4H 15M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Xegar enroute visit Sakya Monastery.
Sakya Monastery: Saya Monastery is the principal monastery of the Sakkara Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, located in Saya County, about 160 kilometers southwest of Shigatse, on the road to Tengri in Tibet. Built in 1073 by Khan Honchoing Gallop. After visit drive to Segar. Overnight at camp.

Day 07 Xegar – Ringebu Monastery – Shigatse (By Road)(445 kms /9H appx)
After breakfast, visit to Rongbu Monastery, also known as Daring or Daring, is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Nyingma sect in Baum Township, Dhingra County, in Shigatse Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. After visit drive to Shigatse. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Shigatse – Lhasa (By Road) (273 kms / 5H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Lhasa. On arrival Lhasa transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Depart Lhasa By Flight
Departure transfer to Lhasa airport for flight to onward destination.
