Over a million tourists a year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar, or Sugar Loaf Mountain in English, which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio. We will depart from the hotel to visit the Christ Statue, which was recently elected as one of the seven modern wonders of the world, which sits 2,300 above sea level, atop Corcovado Hill. Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, we will arrive at the foot of the hill from where we will embark on a small train which climbs the beautiful mountain. Upon reaching the top, visitors will experience a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is known as the “Marvelous City”! Tour also includes a drive along Rio’s famous beaches. Iguazú National Park a total of 55,500 hectares— bears the name of the river serving as northern border, which means “great waters” in the guaraní language. Surrounded by a lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles. We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil”s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: water falls down from 80 meters. Overnight in Iguazu.
Day 05 Iguazu – Lima (By Flight)

Visit downtown at City of the Kings, the most important American city during colonial times. Take a walk around the Main Square, where you can find Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop¿s Palace and Metropolitan City Hall, beautiful buildings, all full of history and tradition. Then, go all over San Francisco Monastery, probably the most spectacular church of colonial Lima, housing the catacombs and a very fine museum of religious art from the XVII century. The tour goes all the way to modern district of San Isidro, where you will appreciate Huaca Huallamarca, a pre Incan pyramid made out of adobe, and end up in the touristic district of Miraflores, where you will observe the Pacific Ocean coast from the vast seafront. Day 07 Lima – Cuzco (By Flight)

Flight from Lima to Cusco (not included).Arrival to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.Half day visiting the city and nearby ruins.Get to know the city of Cusco, an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and possessor of a style all its own. The tour begins at the Koricancha Temple, an old Incan palace and main center for the worship of the sun god, Inti. Once the Spanish conquered Peru, the Dominican order built a lovely church over this temple’s foundations: the church of Santo Domingo, that is still there today.
Your next destination is the Main Square, and then the adventure continues at the Sacsayhuaman Fortress built of enormous stone blocks expertly shaped by the Incas. It is strategically located at the top of a hill overlooking the city of Cuzco. What a view of the city! The tour continues with visits to three archaeological: Qenko, Puca-Pucara, and Tambomachay, important religious and administrative centers for the Incas. Finaly you will visit the art workshop named Inkas Expresion, that presents artists working on silver pieces and painting in wood. It is an ideal place for the ones that like andean art.Overnight in Cusco.

Awaiting you today is by far and away one of the high points in world tourism: Machu Picchu. Your adventure starts on a train ride to the city of Aguas Calientes, where you will disembark and then board a bus that drives you to the actual Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. You will discover this New 7 Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site; afterwards, there is some free time for you to explore the site on your own, to relax or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant and, later on, board the train for your return trip. You will stop at the train station indicated in your ticket where you will be picked up and driven to your hotel.Overnight in Cusco
Day 09 Cuzco – Puerto Maldonado (By Flight)

Start your journey arriving to Puerto Maldonado, where our staff will welcome you and provide the necessary information for your stay. Navigate by outboard motorized canoe along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción for approximately 25 minutes. Enjoy LUNCH with organic ingredients and native flavors. After lunch, take a walk through CONCEPCION TRAILS, inside property nature trails, where you will discover and learn about primary and secondary rainforest, its components, uses, transformations by the human being, and its relevance for the world. At dusk navigate by outboard motorized canoe, at the TWILIGHT RIVER excursion. By sailing on the Madre de Dios River, you will learn about its ecosystem, Amazonian creeks, nocturnal animals’ behavior, and the southern constellations. Day 10 Puerto Maldonado
After breakfast,New experiences are ahead and after taking a nutritious buffet BREAKFAST, get ready for a long trek through terra firma into the Tambopata National Reserve towards LAKE SANDOVAL. Here you will understand why Madre de Dios is called the biodiversity capital of Peru, while learning about the Reserve’s conservation efforts and the lake’s formation. Navigate by dugout canoe across this mirror-like oxbow lake that is home to the endangered giant river otter (Pteronura brasiliensis), blue and yellow macaw (Ara ararauna), red howler monkey (Alouatta seniculus), black caiman (Melanosuchus niger), and one of the world’s biggest fresh water scaled fish, the paiche (Arapaima gigas). Back to the lodge for LUNCH, and later the INKATERRA CANOPY WALKWAY & ANACONDA WALK await for you.
Take a 20-minute ride by outboard motorized canoe to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway Interpretation Center where you will learn about its construction and the conservation projects of ITA-Inkaterra Asociación (NGO). Ascend one of the two 98-foot towers (30 m.) and cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops at 91 ft. high (28 m). Enjoy the breathtaking vistas and get the chance to watch white-throated toucans (Ramphastos tucanus), woodpeckers, trogons, squirrel monkeys (Saimiri boliviensis) and the three-toed sloth (Choleopus hoffmani). After descending keep on feeling the incredible primary rainforest energy going along the 200-meter wooden bridge over the swamps (aguajales). You will learn about the fauna and flora of this flooded ecosystem. At night get ready for an adventure during the HIDDEN RAINFOREST excursion, where you will explore the Amazon rainforest that gives way to nocturnal animals who display intriguing behavior patterns, and enhanced senses as adaptation mechanisms. Listen to nocturnal living nature sounds, and penetrate this hidden world.

The tour begins with a visit to Bernardo O’Higgins Avenue better known as “Alameda”, which is the main street of the city where the tour concludes with a visit to the San Francisco Church, located in the heart of Santiago, built between 1586 and 1628 by the Franciscan order and is the oldest colonial era building in the country. It is then onto the bohemian and gourmet district of Bellavista with new hip restaurants, boutiques, and avant-garde galleries occupying loft spaces and lordly mansions that punctuate tree-lined streets awash with colorful antique homes. Wander the street and rub shoulders with some of Santiago’s intellectuals and artist who call the neighborhood home.
You then visit San Cristobal Hill. Rising 880 mts / 2640 ft over the city – the second highest natural point in Santiago, you are offered panoramic views of the city with the statue of the “Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepcion” holding commanding views of the city. Enjoy a downhill ride by funicular. Visit “Forestal Park”, which runs along Mapocho River – water that penetrates the land. The river itself flows from the Andes and cuts the city of Santiago in two. You then travel to the heart of the city and Plaza de Armas the spot from where the city has grown throughout the centuries. Visit some of the more important buildings such as the Cathedral, the City Council, the Central Post Office and the National Historical Museum. Continue to the Presidential Palace “La Moneda”; the current seat of the government.
Next, walk to the recently renewed Chilean Museum of Pre-Colombian Art. You will wander the streets that were once elegant at the beginning of the 19th century and now are a commercial center. Finally, you will visit the famous “Santiago Central Market” inaugurated 15th September 1872, a place where “flavors and traditions” are beautifully intertwined. Experience the famous and picturesque Seafood Stores. It is not a “looks don’t touch” visit as you will enjoy lunch at “El Galeon”, a restaurant specializing in Chilean cuisine. Return to your Hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.

The wild smell of the countryside will invite us to break away from routine and discover a charming hundred-year-old rural tradition in the midst of the XXI century. Folk songs and dances, equestrian activities, and unbeatable shows of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races, cuadreras (horse races), entrevero de tropillas (horse games): let`s live the traditional lifestyle of Argentinian ranches through the gaucho, the greatest symbol of these lands.
