Day 01 Arrive Port Elizabeth
Arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport and transfer to hotel. This major sea port and tourist destination is renowned for its sunshine and sandy beaches. Conditions in Port Elizabeth are ideal for sailing, swimming and scuba diving. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore the town or enjoy time at the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Port Elizabeth – Tsitsikamma (By Road) (187 Kms /2H 15M appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to South Africa’s southern coastline, known as the Garden Route. You will experience a scenic drive towards the Tsitsikamma Forest. The protected and indigenous forest of Tsitsikamma contains an amazing array of vegetation, birds and wildlife and a wonderful winding board walk through the forest leads to the famous suspension bridge at Tsitsikamma Mouth. Explore the coastal bush and rocky shoreline and if you are more adventurous plunge off the world’s highest bungee jump at the Bloukrans River. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 Tsitsikamma – Knysna (By Road) (93 kms /1H 20M appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to continue your journey along the Garden route via Plettenberg Bay, where you can stop and relax at a stunning beach before making your way to the picturesque town of Knysna which is nestled between lush forests and a peaceful estuary. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Knysna
After breakfast, Proceed to the next days plenty of activities and attractions in Knysna. Consider a visit to the Knsyna Elephant Park where you will have the opportunity to touch, feed and photograph these gentle giants or take a trip to the nearby Monkeyland, where you will get taken on a monkey safari in the forest to learn about these fascinating creatures, ranging from the Gibbons of Asia to the Lemurs of Madagascar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Knysna – Oudtshoorn (By Road) (119 kms/1H 41M appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to morning continue your journey to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Explore the historical Klein Karoo at your own pace and partake in some of the activities available. You can opt to visit the ostrich show farm to learn about the history and use of these unique birds or take a tour of the famous Cango Caves where you’ll discover mysterious limestone formations in a subterranean wonderland. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Oudtshoorn – Cape Town (By Road) (421 kms /4H 46M appx.)
