Day 01 Arrive Tbilisi By Flight
Arrival at Tbilisi International airport meet, assist and transfer to hotel. After the short rest you will have city tour of Tbilisi. The Georgian capital Tbilisi, has a long and fascinating history. Founded in the 4th century by King Vakhtang Gorgasali and named after its warm mineral-water springs, it rapidly developed into the main city of the Caucasus. By the 12th century Tbilisi was one of the most important political, economic and cultural centers of the Middle East. It stood as a key point on the famous Silk Road, bridging Europe and Asia. The first destination will be “Metekhi” church, which dates back to the 12th century and is located on an elevated cliff that overlooks the “Mtkvari“ River. Next, we shall cross the bridge of 100000 thousand martyrs, where in year 1227 100000 thousand, orthodox Christians were decapitated By the army of Turkmen’s lead by Sultan Jalal al- Din of Khwarazm, after they refused to obey his order, to cross the bridge & insult their christian belief by spiting on the holy icon brought out of the Sioni church. Day 02 Tbilisi – Kazbegi By Road 155 Kms / 02 hrs 44 min appx.
After breakfast, Proceed to start our journey long the Georgian Military Highway, where we will make a first halt at Mtskheta. Scientists date the foundation of the town back to the 2nd millennium BC. Mtskheta was the capitak of Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from III BC to V AD. It was here that the Georgian embraced Christianity in the be ginning of the 4th century. Today, the town and its architectural monuments are included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. First we will stop at the Jvari Monastery which stands on a rocky mountain at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers. From here you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the town of Mtskheta and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral blazing in the color of lizard green under the morning sun. Afterwards we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Next we vil visit Samtavro church where St.Monk Gabriel is buried. After Lunch,Then, we shall visit the Ananuri architectural complex, which was the residence of the Eristavi the rulers of Aragvi. The complex comprises various buildings that were used for worship, fighting and household purpose in the past. The main church of the Holy Virgin is the focal point of the fortress. The facade of the church is decorated with an exquisite relief and ornaments a picturesque lake opens up from the base of the Ananuri fortress. We will continue our way through the more and more mountainous landscape up the valley. After we passed Gudauri, ski resort, we shall drive straight to Kazbegi or Stepantsmidna, a small village located in the Greater Caucasus Mountains about 160 km to the north of Tbilisi at the hight of 1700 meters above sea level. Up on our arrival, to Kazbegi, we will check in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Kazbegi – Borjomi By Road 258 Kms / 03 hrs 48 min appx.
After breakfast, Proceed to start ascending to the Gergeti Trinity Church located at the hight of 2127 m above the village Stephantsminda. It is a really beautiful road, surrounded with the dramatic view’s the tall mountains and picturesque terrain. The road will tack us through the forest and up to the vast plateau where the glorious church stands tall at the very end of the cliff. Upon our approach incredible view’s of the mighty Mount Kazbeg 5047 third tallest mountain peak in the Caucasus and the fabulous Kazbegi Valley. This is also considered to be the very mountain that was mentioned in Greek metrology as the eternal prison of demigod Prometheus that was chained to the mountain in Caucasus as a punishment for still ing fire and gifting it to human kind. Afterwards we will walk back to our vehicle and drive towards the cave town Uplistsikhe. near Gori, located on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, which was built during the first half of the first millennium BC. This huge rock- city is the most ancient and impressive masterpiece of the Georgian architecture. More than one hundred rooms, halls, and central streets, the roof stage of the antique theatre, as well as a water- system are preserved. Unfortu- nately, Uplistsikhe was strongly damaged by earthquakes and invasions. In spite of this, the monument has a mighty appearance and even today makes a profound impression upon the visitors. After the excursion we will have lunch at your leisure and then drive straight to Borjomi. Borjomi, famous for its mineral water, whose healing powers have been discovered in the 18th century, and which has become one of Georgia’s major export goods by the beginning of the 21st century. Concluding the day we will check in the hotel in Borjomi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Borjomi – Vardzia By Road 102 Kms / 01 hrs 57 min appx.
After breakfast, Proceed to visit newly renovated medieval architectural complex Akhaltsikhe castle. Its multi cultural architecture will make unforgettable impression on you. You will see side by side mosque, synagogue and church. Afterwards we will drive towards Vardzia. After Lunch in Vardzia, we will visit the cave town Vardzia. Vardzia, a grandiose cave town built in the 12th century, is associated with Queen Tamar and Shota Rustaveli, the author of the heroic epic “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin”. In its hey- day, an average of six thousand monks used to live here, and in times of war, up to fifty thou- sand people used it to take refuge. An earth- quake destroyed much of the complex in the 13th century. The unique fresco of King Tamar and her father King George III makes of this place a real pearl. We will visit the monastery, where today six monks are living, and explore its manifold caves. Guide will show you around the complex and share some of the details of its long and impressive history with you. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Vardzia – Kutaisi By Road 49 Kms / 58 min appx.
After breakfast, Proceed to visit Gelati monastery – Georgia’s UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, founded in the 12th century by King David the IV, named ‘the Builder’. The Gelati monastery and academy became a foremost educational centre in Georgia. The unique murals of saints and Georgian monarchs are located inside the main Holy Virgin’s Cathedral. You will be able to visit the entire complex, including the grave of David ‘the builder’, which is located at the entrance door of the complex. In this way, the King, according to his personal wish, is in eternal and direct contact with his people, as everyone who enters the church is stepping on his grave. Afterwards, we will depart towards Sataplia note: closed on Tuesdays, where we will visit a newly created, park- museum, famous for its marvelous caves and dinosaur foot prints. After Lunch, en route at your leisure. we will visit Prometheus cave. Concluding the day check in the hotel inKutaisi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Kutaisi – Tbilisi By Road 230 Kms / 03 hrs 28 min appx.
After breakfast, Proceed to Tbilisi. Full day free to Leisure.Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Depart Tbilisi By Flight
Departure transfer to onward destination.
