Armenia is a small country in the southern part of Transcaucasus. Day 01 Arrive Yerevan
Arrival at airport meet, assist and transfer to hotel. After a little rest sightseeing city tour in Yerevan. Dinner in the restaurant with national music and dances. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Yerevan – Garni -Yerevan (By Road) (28 Kms/45M appx.-ONE WAY)
After breakfast, Proceed to Visit “Geghard” monastery complex, which is known for its peerless sculptures and its cave church. You will continue to Garni pagan temple, which was dedicated to the sun God Mitra (Mihr) and was also the summer residence of kings. Participation in baking Armenian bread lavash. Return to Yerevan. Visit Ararat brandy factory and taste two brands of Armenian brandy (cognac). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Yerevan – Goris (By Road) (236 Kms / 04 hrs 04 min appx.)
After Breakfast, Proceed to Visit Khor Virap Monastery which offers magnificent view on biblical Mount Ararat. Drive to the medieval Armenians largest architectural monument Noravank, the monastery , which is surrounded by magnificent cliffs. Visit Areni wine factory (wine tasting). Tour to Goris in Syunik region. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Goris – Sevan (By Road) (242 Kms / 03 hrs 57 min appx.)
After breakfast, Visit the Guinness record holder ropeway “Wings of Tatev”, which is the longest in the world. It is the shortest, picturesque and impressive way to Tatev Monastery. Visit to Tatev Monastery (the historical monument of IX century). Drive to Karahunj/Zorats Qarer-the ancient observatory. It was built more than 7500 years ago. Visiting “Blue eyes” Lake Sevan by Selim Pass. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Sevan – Yerevan (By Road) (66 Kms / 01 hrs 03 min appx.)
After breakfast, Visit Sevanavank. Trip to the resort town Dilijan. Visit the pearls of Armenian architecture Haghartsin and Goshavank Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Yerevan
After breakfast, Visit to the Museum and Institute of Ancient Manuscripts “Matenadaran”.Visiting Tsitsernakaberd memorial to Genocide victims of 1915. Visiting St. Parajanov Museum, who is the director of world renowned films “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” and ” The Color of Pomegranates”. Then you will go to Armenian market from where you can buy fruits, dried fruits and spices. In the evening you will go to the popular Malkhas jaz club. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Depart Yerevan
Spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church Etchmiadzin, which is also the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians. Transfer to the airport. Departure transfer to onward destination.
