El Salvador is a small Central American nation. It’s known for its Pacific Ocean beaches, surf spots and mountainous landscape. Its Ruta de Las Flores is a winding route past coffee farms, rainforests with waterfalls and towns like Juayúa, with its weekend food festival, plus Ataco, home to vivid murals.
Day 01 Arrive San Salvador
Arrival at San Salvador airport meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 San Salvador
After breakfast, proceed to will visit main residential city, its most important avenues, the crafts market and the historic downtown of San Salvador where we meet the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace, the Mural of the martyrs and the Church of El Rosario.
Then, we will go to the impressive Puertadel Diablo (rock formation to 1130 msm where you can see the volcanoes, volcanic Lake of Ilopango, Balsam mountain range and the Pacific Ocean). In addition, looks at la crater of the San Salvador volcano which last erupted in the year of 1917, where we also contemplate the nature and spectacular views. Tour includes: a delicious typical dish and a drink. (7-8 hours). Overnight at hotel.
Recommendations: Comfortable shoes, preferred tennis, jeans, avoid shorts that will be visited churches, mosquito repellent, Sun blocker, a light coat because we will go to the mountain. From May to November is the rainy period, bring shelter for rains.
Day 03 San Salvador –El Tazumal-El Salvador(By Road)(203 kms/4H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to visit Joya de Ceren, Mayan village, declared by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site in 1993 and considered the “Pompea de America”, the pyramids of the ceremonial center of San Andres and the Museum. Ending with a visit to Tazumal Archaeological Park where we visit the most impressive Mayan pyramidin El Salvador. It includes panoramic views of beautiful Lake Coatepeque of volcanic origin and visit to the historic centre of Santa Ana, where we can appreciate the beauty of architecture of the Cathedral and itstheatre. (7-8 hours). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 El Salvador
After breakfast, proceed to “The Flowers’ Route”.
Enjoy the beauty of the Western landscape of the country visiting picturesque villages such as (tradition in production of crafts of indigenous origin) Nahuizalco, Juayua, Apaneca and. Mountains and volcanoes will make this tour an unforgettable moment. Includes visit to the waterfalls of Don Juan.

Day 05 El Salvador – Suchitoto (By Road) (40kms / 01hrs 10 min appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to visit Suchitoto (in Nahuat “Place of the flower bird”) and enjoy an interesting walk towards our colonial past. In addition, we can place us in the natural beauty of the area taking a stroll in boat in Lake Suchitlan to appreciate the lush, mountainous landscape and observe an incredible quantity of birds nest on the ”Island of birds”. (7 – 8 hours). Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Suchitoto – El Mozote (By Road) (40kms / 01hrs 10 min appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Department of Morazan, one of the most beautiful regions of the country, but during our historical conflict was punished by fierce battles between the army and the guerrillas. Currently Morazan enjoys peace, which revives the charm of its mountains, rivers of crystal clear water and the warmth typical of the region. We will make a historic expedition in the Museum of the revolution (Periquín) and an ecological walk to enter in contact with nature. Other points of interest: Sapo River and the mural at el Mozote victims.
Visit to Sapo River , Museum of the revolution, trenches and El Mozote. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 El Mozote
After breakfast, proceed to visit one of the most beautiful beaches known as the Costa del Sol El Salvador, including one night’s accommodation in a hotel facing the sea, the perfect place to relax or make a tour boat among mangroves, Lempa River (the main river of the country) and the mouth of the Lempa where the river join the Pacific Ocean. The beach hotel is only 35 minutes from the international airport of El Salvador. Overnight at hotel.
Includes: Boat ride on the Jatequepe estuary, mangroves, Lempa River and to Themouth where the River joins the sea.
Day 08 El Mozote-san Salvador/Depart sansalvador
Departure transfer to onward destination.
