Bulgaria, officially Republic of Bulgaria, Bulgarian Republika Bulgariya, country occupying the eastern portion of the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. Breakfast. Sightseeing in Sofia – Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Crypt where the richest collection of icons on the Balkan Peninsula is kept, St. Sofia Basilica, the Russian Church, roman ruins, etc. Visit to the National History Museum. Overnight in hotel.

Breakfast. Leaving for Plovdiv . Visit to the Old Town and sightseeing. Visit to the Bachkovo Monastery – the second largest in the country 70 km in both directions. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 04 Plovdiv – Karlovo B – – By Road 60 Kms / 57 min appx.
Breakfast. Leaving for the town of Karlovo .On the way visiting the town of Hissar famous for its spas and Roman mosaics. Visiting small towns, connected with the Bulgarian history and Renaissance – Kalofer and Sopot. Overnight in the Valley of Roses.
Day 05 Karlovo B – –
The festival of the rose. Getting up very early in the morning – roses are picked at dawn. Later during the day participation in the festival – concerts, folk dances and songs, etc. Visiting the museum of the rose. Picnic. Overnight in the Valley of Roses.
Day 06 Karlovo – Velico Tarnovo B – – By Road 155 Kms / 02 hrs 08 min appx.
Breakfast. Leaving for Velico Tarnovo, an ancient Bulgarian capital . A stop in the town of Kazanlak and visit to a modern rose destillery.
A stop at the Kelifarevski monastery. Sightseeing in Veliko Tarnovo. Going to the village of Arbanasy famous for its churches and enlisted in the UNESCO’s list of cultural monuments 5 km. Overnight in Velico Tarnovo.
Day 07 Velico Tarnovo – Sofia B – – By Road 222 Kms / 02 hrs 38 min appx.
Breakfast. Sightseeing in Velico Tarnovo. Going to the village of Arbanasy famous for its churches and enlisted in UNESCO list for cultural monuments 5 km. Leaving for Sofia .Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight in Sofia.
