Manas National Park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site which includes a Tiger reserve, elephant reserve and a biosphere reserve in Assam. This national park less frequented as compared to the Kaziranga National Park. Therefore it offers a richer wildlife experience. One of the most famous species is the pygmy hog.
