Located in the Kendarapa district of Odisha, Bhitarkanika National Park is the core area of the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. Covering an area of 145 km sq., this place is dense mangrove forest with salt-tolerant trees. The marshy land and various big and small water streams provide the best habitat to crocodiles, lizards, and snakes.
